It seems like decades have passed since Mill Creek last released a Showa era Ultraman show, but in reality, it has only been a few months. Nevertheless, for some, the wait has been long. Well I've got some good news coming out of this dismal 2020. Mill Creek has announced they will be releasing the sixth Ultra series, Ultraman Taro on Blu-Ray on January 12, 2021.
By now you should know the drill as there will be a steelbook edition and a regular edition that continues the mural on the spine (as shown above). Like its brethren, Taro will contain all 53 episodes in Japanese with English subtitles spread across 6 discs. Here is the synopsis Mill Creek has listed on their website:
