After a four week side story that followed Lupinranger vs Patranger, the final Sentai series of the Heisei era blasted off over the airwaves to give us a show with the completely misleading title of Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger. The name Kishiryu translates into Dragon Knights, which sounded cool. Instead, we got another show that revolved around dinosaurs. On the positive side, Toei hired a man who has written a wide array of television dramas to helm Ryusoulger, one Junpei Yamaoka. Does Yamaoka's dramatization skills make Ryusoulger one of the greatest Sentai stories ever told? Or is it a souless adventure? Watch to find out.
