Mill Creek Reveals Ultraman Blu-Ray Plans for 2020

As you probably know by now, earier this summer Mill Creek Entertainment announced they had acquired the license for nearly the entire Ultraman library for Blu-Ray release in the United States. They announced they would kick these releases off with both Ultra Q and Ultraman in October. Today they have unveild their plans for next year, which you can see in the image below:

This is both captivating and terrying all at the same time. I love the fact that they are this dedicated to getting out as many of the series as they can over the next year. On the other hand, for those of us that aren't millionaires, this can seem a tad overwhelming. Not to mention that Ultra Seven, Ultraman Orb, AND Ultraman Geed will be seeing a release in November, a month after the first two shows come out.

The strange thing about these though is there is no mention of a Steelbook release for either Orb or Geed. If they do not have them, then how far down the line can we expect the Ultraman series to receive that Steelbook treatment? Only through the Showa series? Do you think the Steelbooks are going to be worth acquiring if not every series is going to include one? These are questions I myself am pondering and I doubt I am the only one.

Nevertheless, the fact that we are going to have 11 of the main series and a couple side series out over the next year is still exhilarating even if a tad daunting.
