Go-Busters apparently tried to bring too much new to Super Sentai and it failed miserably. As such, Toei went back to basics with their next show, bringing back the spandex ranger costumes, fully costumed villains that would only have an occasional human form, and most importantly, it would be the third series to feature a dinosaur theme. Thus, Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger was born. Two of the most interesting aspects with this show’s production was the fact that it does not feature a yellow at all on the team, the first time since Changeman, and that Riku Sanjo was the first person to write every episode of the series, including its movies. Sanjo’s name may sound familiar to you because he was also the main writer for both Kamen Rider W and Drive. On the downside, he also wrote for the mediocre anime series MD Geist. Given that Kyoryuger had only one writer, that must mean the show is flawless in its story telling, right? Watch to find out!
