Thanks to the success of Ultraman Ginga and Ginga S, Tsuburaya Productions returned Ultraman to full form in the summer of 2015 with a brand new 24-episode series known as Ultraman X. X continued to use the monster-based Spark Dolls for its main toy attraction while also implemening a card-based system that would allow our heroes to access weapons and abilities from previous Ultramen and monsters.
