Thanks to the success of Denziman, Toei considered extending it for a second year, but instead, decided to follow it up with a direct sequel series that would become known as Taiyo Sentai Sun Vulcan. Here, Toei gave audiences the first ever three man team, a combining robot, and it would be Shozo Uehara's final Sentai series as head writer.
