Resident Evil, or Biohazard, as it was known as in Japan, has been a staple of gaming since the first game hit the original Playstation in 1996. It was such a hit that it kick started an entirely new genre of video games that has became a favorite amongst gamers deemed "Survival Horror." From video games to movies, there seems to be no end in sight for the Resident Evil franchise. Is it really that good of a franchise or an undead nightmare that should have been put into the grave a long time ago? Join me as I discuss a brief overview of the franchise on top of diving into my personal history with it to find out.
