In 2018, what became a new Halloween trilogy was kickstarted. it was originally said that the whole trilogy would take place all on the same night and feature the ultimate showdown between Laurie and Michael Myers. It was revealed in 2019 that the sequels would be titled Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends, which would conclude this brand new timeline. Regretfully, Covid altered those plans and despite Halloween Kills ending with on a massive cliffhanger, Halloween Ends kicks off with a time jump. Did this time jump help improve the movie?
